Tony Campbell has worked as an actor, director and arts advocate throughout Australia and South Korea. A career highlight for Tony was working alongside the late, great Bille Brown, AM (King Arthur in the original Australia production of Monty Python’s Spamalot) on Moliere’s Comédie-ballet, Le Malade imaginaire.

Tony has directed independent productions across Queensland, and most recently directed Steven Tandy (Netflix: Boy Swallows Universe) in Neil Simon's final play, 45 Seconds From Broadway.

As an actor, Tony has performed with London West End theatre performer, Kara Lane (Rebecca – The Musical, The Addams Family). During his time in South Korea, Tony worked as a creative arts instructor for Soonchunhyang University and Samsung Corporation.  

As an arts engagement facilitator, Tony has conducted masterclasses with special guest instructors including Mat Verevis (Australia: Beautiful - The Carole King Musical, Tina – The Musical), Kara Lane (West End, London: Rebecca The Musical, The Addams Family) and Broadway artists Kathleen Simmonds (The Actors Studio, New York), Ainsley Melham (Aladdin, Cinderella) and Bruce Landry (Les Misérables, Harmony). 

Tony studied Drama at the Queensland University of Technology and graduated with distinction. As a dedicated lifelong learner, he recently completed his Master's degree. 

As a passionate arts advocate, Tony is motivated by the words of the great acting teacher, Stanislavski: 

"Love the art in yourself and not yourself in the art".
